Default Electrical problem fuse?

On my 2012 S crew 4x4 5.0 I have 2 "lighters" or power outlets for lack of better word on my dash. 1 works and 1 does not. I have checked the owner's manual to determine which fuses they are on, and the fuses appear to be fine. I pulled the problem outlet out of the dash, to be sure it was plugged in and that was ok as well.
At this point I am not sure what else to check.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Appearances can be deceiving, check them with a test light.

Default Thanks for the reply

Thanks,
Don't have a test light.... guess I can just replace them to see if that does it.

Test lights can be purchased at any auto parts store for less than $10 for an inexpensive one. Hook one side to a ground (i.e. a bolt under the dash) at then put the point on the wire connector. Remember one of the ports is a 12 volt power port that may only work with the key on, the other is the cig. lighter on a different fuse. It should work all the time. Almost every car and truck are different in this configuration so be sure how your specific vehicle is set up.

If it's the lower one, the fuse is in the box under the hood. fuse number 22.

Default Thank you Fellas

It was the fuse. Sure was difficult to see with these old eyes, but I replaced it today and problem solved.
Thanks again,
DW
