Hello everyone,
I have 2008 F-150. I am experiencing the cab/dome light and the exterior cab light comes on and off on its own. Sometimes blinking on off as I drive. Sometimes it comes on when it is parked. I was wondering if someone has run into this and might have a good place to start looking for a short. Or could it be a faulty switch? I am not sure how else to explain this, so if you have questions that will help me answer I would appreciate your opinions.

I would start with looking at and troubleshooting the interior lighting dimmer. Turn the brightness down a bit and see if the issue goes away. If not, replace the dimmer.
