driveshaft clunk repair.
F150 2007 2wd, 200,000 KM. 125,000Miles
I pulled the two piece driveshaft tonight and greased the splines. Amazingly the clunk is gone, that was too easy.
6000 dollar buy
Replaced rear rotors and brakes and ebrake shoes, repaired linkage.
new tires
serpentine belt
new radiator
New fuel filter,
oil change
Oil pan gasket
Transmission pan gasket and filter.
Passenger side upper control arm. also a very easy job.
No rust, no dents, chrome, trailer package, a very nice truck for being 12 years old

Nice truck. I also like your garage/barn. As to the driveline clunk, I hate to tell you but it'll probably be back before too long. There's a product called Neolube that's supposed to be the hot ticket. In my case (the '05) I replaced the yoke. Neolube hadn't yet been discovered in our circle and the local driveline shop said replacement was the only real fix, because the nickel plating gets worn off the splines. I had already greased it a couple times with no long term satisfaction so I took his advise. That was 3 years ago, so far no recurrence. I think either '07 or '08 was the end of the step-sides. Good find.
