Default Drivers side wheel is locked when on the jack

I have a 2006 F150 FX4. So a couple of weeks ago my drivers side caliper locked up on me. It would engage and then disengage. I pulled over and there was smoke coming through the hub cap and the caliper was screaming hot. I figured the brake line was bad. I changed that and the caliper, rotor and pads. I bleed the brakes and decide to see how it ran. It's just as bad. I noticed that when I had the drivers side lifted, the wheel wouldn't turn, but the passengers side would. Anyone have a clue as to what's going on?! Thanks in advance.

did you install the pads correctly? do they have "dog ears" there is a inboard and outboard pad on some brands

has the truck had a cv axle replaced recently?
