Default Dome light problem

Please help. I have a 2008 F250 Super duty. The dome light works when I turn it on at the fixture but it does not come on when any of the four doors are opened. The cargo light works and the door ajar indicator works. The dimmer switch dims the instrument panel but will not turn on the dome light either. The light fixture only toggles to on and off, no center setting. Any idea what might be the issue? Thanks.

I ended up taking it to the dealer. Faulty switch. $250.00 parts and labor.

Not sure if this would apply here or not. The dome light switches are on the latches. I have had to pull the door panels off and remove the switch on each door. Then use something like PB blaster to free up the stuck switch. Dome lights worked perfect after the "the free up". After spraying the switch end, you would work the plunger a little at a time to let the penetrating oil do it's magic.

So your going to tell me a 2 year old truck is going to have door pin switches probelms? on all 4 doors, all at the same time....

Dude, I have no power at the purple wire on the passinger's door sill that I tied my leds to...
At first I have dome light issues...and then 3 weeks later the freaking caro lamp now isn't working...Something crazy is wrong and its not fuses or a door switch.....

Some one on here knows the right answer to this problem....Please share !!
