Default Do you know what this?

I was under the truck today, when I noticed a rubber cap part sitting in a frame rail area on the driver side. I looked around but could not tell where it came from. Any thoughts? Pictures below

Looks huge! Or not. Is that a 2X12 or a 2x2 it's sitting on?

The first pic looks like a body plug, often stuck on the floor pan to fill holes. The second pic makes it not look like that. ??

Yes it is sitting on a 2x4. I took the pic close up to try to get the numbers. Just to add the inside of it is metal in case that was not clear.

looks like a part out of a Kawasaki shock absorber. Do you or did you own a Kawasaki?

Nope! I kind of wondered if it is just something that was on the road and somehow got kicked up on to the frame by the skid plate.
