I have a 2004 F-150 Heritage, my digital odometer has been intermittent for the last few months. It does still keep track of the miles, but often does not display.

Is there a way to make sure the connections are tight without taking apart the dash? And how many connectors and maybe locations that should be checked?

 

Extremely common problem with your year truck, solder joints in the instrument cluster break and make intermittent contact. Only way to fix is disassemble cluster and re solder joints, or replace cluster.
