Default differential pinion question

Hi, I tried to get my questions posted late last night but I must not have done it right or else I haven't found my answers yet.Someone in the past has discarded the ID tag from my differential cover plate bolt which I am sad to report. At any rate basically I have two questions: 1) my 225,000-mile 1999 4x4 F150 rear pinion seal is leaking really bad (I have just started to drive the truck after putting a 2004 5.4 engine in it with only 28,000 miles on the new engine - boy, that was a blessing). The pinion shaft companion flange seems to be stuck tight on the shaft and my two-arm puller won't budge it. Any suggestions? Get bigger puller? 2) The play in the pinion shaft seal area seems to be more than a mere seal would be able to handle, is there some sort of a bushing or bearing near the seal area of the pinion shaft? Thanks for any help.

Hi again, I got my answers from a local friend, so there is no need to respond. Thanks anyway. Hezekiah
