I recently broke the broke the black plastic outer part [forward facing] of the passenger side tow mirror on my 2011 F-150. Dealer wants $650 for the mirror assembly [ouch]. Has anyone removed the forward facing black plastic and done a "bondo" repair? Any help in removing the plastic would be appreciated.
