hi, i have couple questions about my new truck i jus bought.

i'm not quite sure how many inches the truck is lifted, but yeah its lifted, but thats the the problem. problem is on slow right turns> everytime i climb up to my drive way this wierd thumping noise is made...almost sounds like sumthings about to snap...not just that but on bumping roads on turns it makes thumping noises from the front...the back seems cool though...not sure if its suppose to sound like that frm lifted...almost sounds like the shocks are out too...but agian not sure too( i have no car knowledge)...i got this truck at 51k miles on it...its a 2006 f150 triton...i'll post picture of the the wheels and tell me if its a poor lift job or wat...but as for now this is it...

any answers...if so let me know...thanks

Ok I'll take a stab at it - get under there and really inspect every connection of the suspension, look for signs of movement, even throw a jack under the truck and see if you can move the top for the tire in and out (ball joints), even side to side (tie rods). the end links on the stabilizer bar can make some weird noises too. There are many probable causes of weird front-end noises. You just need to poke around under there.

Does the front end seem bouncy at all ? - If so its time for new shocks.

I was experiencing the same thing. I replaced the control arms, lower ball joints, tie rod ends, and even the front passenger hub assembly (all of which needed replaced anyway...running 35" tires for most of the truck's life).

Finally took it to the dealer....turns out my stabilizer bar was nearly cracked in half.
