does anyone know how hard it is to and how to replace the boot on the cv joint mine has torn and now grease is flying all over the bottom of my truck and mason want to charge 300 to replace one boot is it something a novice could do in the driveway with the right tools?

 

Access to the axle is necessary, if you can remove the axle then its a piece of cake. Not sure of your experience or available tools. Hard call.
