I recently purchased a 1999 F150 XL equipped with cruise control. The cruise control works great other than when I push the OFF button, cruise control does not disengage. I have to press the brake pedal to turn it off. Does anyone have any advise or suggestions on how to troubleshoot or repair this? I don't know if this matters, but it has a 5 speed manual tranny in it.
