Default Crank, no start

Just bought a 2000 F-150 4x4 EC SB. Test drive fine. Drive home fine. First drive after new tags, fine. Next time stumble upon accel, park and no start. Come back after an hour, starts but still stumbles. Now starts whenever it wants to.
Seller said it needed a crank sensor and included it with truck. Changed it, no change.
Seen posts talking about chipped keys. Could this be an issue?

Have you pulled the coils and checked the boots and plugs?

Not yet. Kinda trying to get a check list together as free time is scattered.

Check fuel pressure, needs at least 28 psi to start.

I can hear the pump running. Is there a pressure sensor that needs to see 28 PSI before anything "works"? I'm not getting power at injectors (noid test). Have not pulled plugs yet, it seems I have power and ground at the coils.

Had to take it to a shop. The crank sensor wiring had been "probed", looking for voltage and the pinholes had allowed the wiring to corrode, effectively, no crank sensor.
Unfortunatley, after starting, found the head gasket blown. Doh!
