Default Constant Clicking in dash

Hi All, New member here hoping someone might be able to help. 1985 F150 2wd w/inline 6. Whenever the key is in the on position I am getting a clicking sound from within the dash. I have narrowed it down to a small roughly 3x3 black plastic box located above the wiper switch but in such a spot I think the only way to get to it would be to remove the dash. Anyone have an idea what it is and how to access it or replace it?

Thanks in advance!!!

It can usually be removed (with some effort) after pulling the instrument cluster (which is relatively easy).

These antiques use vacuum- & cable-operated HVAC doors; not electronic servos that can click.

Thanks! I’ll look into that.
