Default completely lost

Gotta 99 f150 4.6 im driving down the road and it dies and i lose all power. I cannot get it to jump or anything. Get towed home take the battery out and test it. Well its dead so i charge it for a few hours put it in and fires right up. Run for about 15 mins, kill it let it set fires back up. I pull the positive for a few seconds and still keeps running. Let it run another 10 mins, kill it and try to restart and my battery died again. So with that being said i have no clue what it could be. Help is much needed and thanks in advance

Many possibilities.

Pulling the positive only demonstrates the alternator has sufficient output to run the engine. Accessories, charging the battery after start, etc. is still in doubt.

I'd charge the battery and get it load tested. Take your alternator in for same. Most auto parts places in my area will do this for free.

Also check all your ground wires while you are at it. Loose grounds can cause intermittent issues.

As to what I think is going on, my guess is the alternator but sometimes loose wiring or bad battery cells have presented similarly for me.
