Cold Start Rough Idle
Hello all I'm new on the forums and I thought would share my resent visit to the dealer in alberta.
Here is a little back ground on my truck: 2011 F150 6.2L platinum with 30,000km. It has CAI and magnaflow exhaust.
The issue I been having is, from a cold start the idle is rough for about 30sec then it settles out.
So I decided to take it into the dealer and This is what the dealer said, no codes, no misfiring, but stumbling engine, check the MAF reading is erratic, but has modified exhaust system and air intake is aftermarket and will affect mass airflow readings which can cause over fuelling due to more airflow. No warranty due to modified air intake.
I had to pay for the diagnostics.
What I ended up doing was cleaning my MAF and reset my ECM and followed the relearning procedure. I will update in the morning if it worked.
