Unhappy Code P2085

I was towing my camper home on a 95' day and got a P2085 code on my F150 indicating a circuit problem with the exhaust gas temperature sensor. I cannot find such a sensor on my truck. I found up/down o2 sensors only in the exhaust manifold and Cat. While idling, my scan tool shows cat temperature on it of 800′ so it must be calculating it somehow? O2 sensors are reading on the scan tool. Ideas on what to check for this issue? I have seen to check corroded connectors, but seems you would need to find the sensors first.

Bogus.

Go read the code again. That one should be impossible for your truck to display since it's not a diesel and it doesn't have an EGT sensor.

If necessary, use a different reader or scanner.

Thanks, I will need to see if it sets again as I had the battery disconnected for other reasons. I will report back when I know more.
