Ok I installed a new system in my truck. I had video showing step by step how to do it. But my friend who I paid to help got in a rush and we were running out of daylight so we threw everything back together real fast. We hooked the ribbons on the climate control up backwards and it fried one of the ribbons. We quickly unplugged everything while it was still smoking. I ordered a front piece with the climate control boards still in it off of eBay and 2 new ribbons from crutchfield. With everything correctly hooked up now the climate control does not come on at all no lights, no nothing. Please help.

 

Year make model? Have you checked for codes?

 

2016 f150 havnt seen any codes, and not sure how to check.

 

ok so far i have ordered a new bezel, took the a/c boards out of it and put in mine and hooked it up with brand new ribbons. I have checked every single fuse on the truck none are blown. I even switched the fuel and a/c relays around so the relay is not bad. I'm lost.

ok so I got tired of not having a/c I went out there and messed with this thing. I reversed one of the ribbons and one of the boards lit up (The one that connects to the harness) But the front board didn’t (The one with the actual controls on it). So I reversed the other ribbon and again it started smoking so I hurried and unplugged it. Now my cluster and dash don’t work, and once again there aren’t any blown fuses. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!
