Hey guys/girls whatever you identify with. Quick question, so I recently took my 04 f-150 to the dealership to get a new motor put in and when I got it back when I change gears it doesn’t change properly if that makes sense. For example when I go from park to reverse the gears doesn’t lock at reverse if that makes sense I have pass the R a little then go back to R to put in reverse same goes to put it in drive I have to pass D and go back to D so I can put it on drive. Did the mechanic screw something up during the engine install or is it something I can do to fix it. I just want it fix the problem but don’t want to pay crazy dealership prices. I would like a quick answer before something bad happens. Thanks guys!!
