Changed out
Plugs,Replaced one COP and put in the new MAF sensor.
In the AM will be installing all four new Oxgen sensors and a new wix fuel filter.
I used the Duralast cop after I looked at the Motorcraft Box and saw it was imported to Mexico from China exactly what the Duralast box said..anyway I'll see. Lifetime at autozone is okay with me.
My neighbor has over 45 thou on his duralasts..The Plugs I pulled out were 515's and they really didn't look to bad the PO put them in a few years ago but he didn't know what he used so I said whatt the hell and pulled them all. The back two on the passenger side were tricky but using and assortment of knuckles and extensions they came out blew everything out first and put the dialectic on all deals when assembled..I put the champions back in I got them real cheap so I went with that. After installing the MAF all codes went away and the ticking from the number two passenger side bank stopped entirely. Smoothed it right out I put the nickle anti-seize on that long shaft up the the shoulder. The PO did not do that and a couple were hard coming out and hard going in don't know why that was. But everything is assembled and after the o2 sensors and and fuel filter then its will be time for the Oil to be changed before heading to the cool NW to get out of the July thru oct summer heat here in az
I paid attention to everything said about this on the forum and watched a couple of youtube videos even watched the one where I actually wanted to watch paint dry.

Hey man, I'm going to replace my plugs and boots. I have a shudder at low RPM in OD under slight load or slight acceleration. I was going to see if the plugs knock the misfiring our and clears up the shudder. Now how did you know what COP needed to be changed. Does the code tell you which bank is acting up or could you hear it?
BTW thanks for the info.

Yea you can hear it and I was getting a slight stumble but the codes will tell you exactly which cyl is the problem
By the way the 515's were a 9/16 and the champs are 5/8. I started the champs with a 5/8 plug wrench then switched to the 5/8 deep well makes getting the socket out easier..just sayin.

Thanks bud for the info. I didn't know that about plug socket size difference. I just re-ordered Autolites or Motorcraft OEM style from Autozone. I tried to get the Autolite with the welded base and they didn't have them. Got my Lisle tool ordered and should give it a try here soon.
As far as a miss and getting a code, I don't hear a miss at idle. I have heard it when I gave it full throttle from idle. But it is really noticable when at low rpms in OD.
