1999 F150 XL 2wd 4.2l
I am finally getting around to work on my exhaust system and I noticed a hole in 1 of the cats. Each side consists of 2 cats 4 in total. The hole is in the first cat closest to manifold. My question is can I remove this cat completely and run straight into the second without any hiccups? I will replace both second cats with new universal walkers. Is the first cat necessary?
