CamShaft Assembly Question
I'm getting ready to replace my timing chains and phasers in the near future. I plan on taking the roller followers and the camshaft out for a good inspection and cleaning.
My question is, what position is the camshafts supposed to be in during reassembly? The closest thing I could find is having the intake lobes on the right side and the exhaust lobe on the left at 11.

EXACTLY the same position it was in when removed. Just set the engine correctly as you describe (2 intake lobes on Cyl 1 @ 11:00 o'clock) for disassembly. You'll probably have Phaser's removed _before_ removing cams. Just note (draw a sketch) of position of the Phaser alignment pin hole in the very front of camshafts.
I removed my cams to remove/replace all lash adjusters & roller followers. I 'carefully' set ALL the new roller/followers in place - and 'very gently' set cams on them, placed journal caps in place and sequentially and slowly tightened cap bolts a little bit at a time until they pulled the cam down tight. (Only knocked a couple of roller/followers off a couple of times - but the cam will sit there with journal caps off.)

If you're pulling them all out, you:
- put your HLA all in place,
- bolt your cams down
- set up timing chains
- put RFF back in wherever the valves are closed and the cam lobes are more 'up' than 'down'.
Probably going to need a valve spring compressor to do it this way.
