My wife has a 2018 Expedition. It has a rattle and the check engine light came on. It has a recall for the cam phasers. I took it to the dealership and they said the cam phasers will have to be replaced. Ford won’t cover any of the cost. I hear cam phasers are an issue on the Expedition.

What I’m really concerned about is that I just bought a 2022 F150 Lariat with the same engine as my wife’s. Are F150s having the same trouble?
