First off I'm new to this forum and glad I found it. I have a 2007 F150 4.6l that I purchased knowing it had a Cam Phaser issue. I teared down the drivers side valve cover and ordered the phasers and timing chain tool to lock the tensioners in place while replacing the phasers. After opening up the valve cover, I found my self scratching my head for a few minutes.
The cam phaser on the truck and the replacement phaser look nothing alike. WTF!!! I double checked replacement
phaser and they are the write ones that SHOULD fit truck.
Seems as though the original one is different. Can someone steer me in the right direction.

What am I missing here????
