Default CAL

Have a 2008 F-150 XLT 5.4L and every 6 to 8 engine starts I get a "CAL" warning in the info center where the compass and temperature would normally show up over the odometer. Typically, after a few minutes of driving it goes away. Only mention in the owners manual for CAL is about manually calibrating the compass. It says you need to find an open lot and drive around in a couple circles to calibrate. I've done this, and the CAL warning goes away quickly, but a few starts later it's back again.

Anyone have a similar issue? Found a fix for it? I will ask dealer next time I'm in for an oil change, but figured I'd ask around here first. Thanks!

FYI, new member and first time Ford owner... will post pics when the weather in New England turns around for good and I can clean her up!
