a/c and heat
i have a 1997 f-150 with 200000 miles on it and starting having trouble with the heat and air. it wants to stay on heat or cold. i can here the door open and close under the dash. anyone ever have this problem before. i am new to this site so please be patience with me. thanks in advance jamie

The blend door is controlled by vaccuum. Possibly we are loosing the vaccuum. In certain selections of the heater controls, the AC is on all the time, but its warmed by the heater core. So do we have good water flow to the heater core? Check this by hand feeling the temperature of both the heater hoses. Should be nearly the same temperature. Get back to us. We have alot of patience here. Are you done yet?
