I got into my truck this evening and when I tried to turn the A/C on it shut itself off. I turned it back on and the display came on, but immediately went dim and did not turn on. I fiddled with it for a bit, but nothing so I went about my business, and it came in a bit after I started driving on a higher fan setting thatn usual. I turned the truck off to get gas, and when I turned it back on, it did the same thing. Once the A/C DOES kick in, I cant control the fan at all. If I turn the key forward, I can hear a groaning noise coming from behind my glove compartment. Has anyone ever had this issue before? I drive a 2004 Ford F150 4x4.
