While using the front of my truck I very abruptly found the trailer hitch of another vehicle. I’m looking to see what the name of this lower black plastic piece of bumper is called (see right side of license plate). I’m thinking I can probably fix this cheaper than my insurance company can. Much appreciation in advance!

I believe it is called a bumper cover. You could get a quote from a body shop to confirm.

 

I think they're under $100 on ebay.
