Hi guys I'm new to this I just bought a 99 f150xlt my first and last ford prod lol any way they just put a tranny in in Dec my problem is at about 45 50 I truck will buck and jerk if I let off on gas fo a second it quits at first I was blaming the tranny but now im leaning more to ignition .any one have any suggestions? There are no codes or ck engine light on on and it's a 4.6 was told it might need plugs and or coil packs I think it has been verry neglected and been sitting awhile before I got it. Thanks

From what you describe, I doubt it is ignition which usually acts up when you put a large demand on the engine not during decel. Take the transmission out of overdrive and see if the problem goes away.

From what you described ... sounds exactly like a mis-fire condition. change plugs/boots and springs.
