Default Braking Vibration

2012 FX2, feel a slight vibration in steering wheel when applying the brakes. anyone else have this and what was the diagnosis?

Warped rotors could cause that.

Pad material transfer. Commonly misdiagnosed as warped rotors

Just took mine to the shop, the rotors were machined but I still feel it. Look at your tires, I have 31k on my truck and the tires (Michelin P265/70R17) look like they are dry rotting. I plan on stopping by a Michelin dealer today.

had a ford ranger that use to do that until I changed the rotors and brake pads which corrected the issue.
