Default Brake light on - in dash

I have a "brake" light on in my dash. I have replaced all the brakes, including the rear calipers and E-brakes. Plenty of fluid, and brakes have been bled. The light is still on. Any Ideas?

yes, 04-08. I also found out that the crash sensor goes bad quite frequently in these vehicles as well.

After searching some more, I also found that the brake fluid sensor is quite often the cause, and as you stated, a short in the cluster.
I mentioned the crash sensor, because the air bag light is on as well.

Thanks for your information

This is what I have read on some different forums. Being that it is located in the center front of the vehicle, it gets rusted and sometimes the pins in the connector come loose.

My first thought would be to check the brake fluid level AND your pads. As the pads wear the fluid level will go down. If it goes down too far most vehicles will display a warning. If the fluid is low enough to display a warning I would suspect that your pads are toast or you have a leak.

Dumb question but are you certain it's the brake warning light? I have seen in some vehicles that other warning lights look similar and could be confused with each other. For example, TPMS sensor, parking brake, etc... I don't have the same gen truck so I can't see for myself but just throwing the possibility out there.
