Default Blower motor harness getting hot

My 2010 lariat recently started making a clicking sound when I started it with ac on. Now blower motor dropping out, comes back if I wiggle the harness under glove box but noticed it’s hot to touch. Priced new resistor at $155 so want to be sure that is in fact part I need to replace. Appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks
stacy

Sounds like a bad connection or the blower itself causing resistance.

Thanks and looks like you are correct- dielectric grease has fixed the problem 👍🏻
