BIG puddle -- now electrical issues
1999 Expedition 5.4 4X4
Drove pretty fast through a HUGE puddle yesterday. Shortly after, the radio lost power. Had to stop for gas anyway, when I put the tranny in park, the radio came back on. Shift to drive, radio back off. Repeated a few times and radio stayed on. Drove home and windshield washer light cut out randomly (washer tank is empty, so light should stay on.)
This morning everything was fine. Drove to work with no incident. But when I turned off my truck, I could hear what sounded like a relay clicking randomly under the dash, and the alarm light was flickering instead of the steady flash.
After work, battery was dead. Got a jump and got home fine. Turned it off and got the relay clicking fast/flickering alarm light again. Decided to just disconnect the battery tonight.
Any suggestions? I've seen comments about GEM getting wet and causing weirdness. Could this be my case? Where is he GEM located? How do I dry it?
Thanks in advance for the help!!

Not really. I opened all the windows on a hot, sunny day, disconnected the battery, set a fan on the floor on the drivers side and aimed it to blow up under the dash, plugged it in and let it run all day. No more problems.
Now I keep it parked in the carport out of the rain and avoid driving through big puddles.
