Default Bent control arm aftermath.

Hi. I'm new here so I don't really know how this works. But I have a 2013 f150 EcoBoost limited. 4 inch lift with 35 inch mat. So today I got side swipes by an 18 wheeler and at a red light. I was in the wrong clearly because I was 2 foot past the white line. The only damage at first sight was tire blowout and wheels. After driving and inspecting the control arm was bent along with a slew of codes. I checked inside the wheel well and a bent control arm was all I found along with the alignment being out of whack a little. But anyways after changing the control arm and, brake, and advance trac lights are on. I am planning on getting an allignment tomorrow but wondering if anyone has an idea why the lights are on. Btw I've already tried getting the codes read and disconnecting the battery.

thanks in advance for any input.

not sure what you mean by " a slew of codes" then "I tried getting the codes read". either it has codes or doesn't if
warning lights are on I would say it does. anyways I would suspect a cut wire harness to the speed sensor or if
you unplugged it to change the control arm and didn't plug it in. or, it's possible the wheel bearing which houses the
speed sensor and tone ring got damaged (even if you can't see it, the tone ring may be dislodged(it is inside the bearing)
and not giving the correct signal. your codes should be something like c1296 and c1155 for left front

Could also be a damaged EPAS. Need to know what codes are stored to make any kind of educated guess.

Forgot about that yes if the rack/tie rod end takes a whack it can be damaged and set codes
