If they didn't do a load test have them do one. If all they tested was if it was taking a charge that wouldn't tell you if the battery still has the power to start your truck. A load test simulates a cold start so there is alot of load on the battery. If the battery doesn't put out enough amps under load then it will fail the test.

Going from frustrated in 100+ degree heat to frustrated in pouring down rain, i have thrown my hands up in the air the white flag has been raised, My Truck is now in the hands of a qualified mechanic, hopefully he will have better success than i, let ya all know when done
