Bank Two Of Two Running Lean
PLEASE HELP ANYONE THAT HAS ANY TIPS TO TRY TO ELIMINATE THIS ROUGH IDLE PROBLEM THATIM HAVING ON MY 04 4.2 HERITAGE I WHOULD BE MORE THAN THANKFUL FOR THE TIPS

On the 4.2L engines there is a large plastic plenium chamber between the throttle body and the intake. There are sealing grommets built integral with the bolts securing the lower half of the chamber to the intake. Ford made a production change to correct this problem. Mine would throw both P0171 and P0174 codes occasionally but never idled rough. As was so perfectly described in an earlier post, "ten minute fix, that takes two hours". Unless you are alot better then that guy and myself, believe it.
