My camera quit working, but I found the problem and wanted to put this in a new thread so someone doing a search could find it.

In simplest terms, I was getting blue screen for 4 seconds then blacking out. I kept checking the connections at the camera and under the frame but was not getting any voltage. Then I noticed my tail lites and brake lites were also not working.

long story short, if the plug to the tail lites is dirty or other wise not making good contact, the back up camera will not work either.
