Unhappy Assorted electrical issues / BSM/VSM/BCM

2007 F150 extended cab, 4.6L, 6.5' bed

This is an issue I've had for over a year, and am finally fed up. Started with some odd electrical issues - flickering gauges, radio not turning off when door opened, etc. Next morning - dead battery. Since then I pulled the BSM (or whatever it might be called). It's been that way ever since, until tonight. I ordered a used BSM from a 08 SCrew and tried it out, but no joy. I've pulled and re-seated all fuses and relays. No blown fuses.

Following issues are still persistent:
-No dome light with door open
-No power locks
-No radio shutdown when door open
-No automatic lights
-No keyfob (I know they wouldn't work with new VSM anyway)
-No exterior keypad functionality

I'm at a loss. I've checked all the wiring looms I can access, including beneath the kick panels and in all 4 door boots.

After hours of research, I'm no closer to finding a solution. HELP!

I'm having a problem with the BSM/BSM too. Were you ever able to fix this?

A couple of things to check.
When you get multiple electrical issues you need to check the grounds. In the cab, passenger and drivers side plastic kick panels (foot level) need to be removed to access.
Issues with components associated with doors (windows, door locks, mirrors) are often due to broken wiring in the door jam area. To access pull back the accordian boot and look for broken wires or buldges in the insulation which indicated an internal break.
If you give us a complete description of your truck then specific information can be supplied.
