Alternator Bracket Removal
Hi, I have a 1995 F-150 with the 5.0 Liter. Idler tensioner bolt broke and I am replacing it. I have to remove the alternator bracket to get the broke bolt out. Do I have to remove the vacuum pump in order to get this bracket off? If so is it just the one bolt holding it on? Thanks.
Nothing specific in the shop manual but commonly when an accessory bracket needs to be removed, ALL accessories attached must be removed in order to access the bolts holding it to the engine.
One of those times where mechanical aptitude kicks in. Take before pics so you have a guide when reassembling.
