Default AllData

I see so many posts asking "how do I take this off?", "where is the _____ located?", "how do I test ______ part?", "what is the part number for _____?".

For $19/month, or $59/year you can get access to everything you've ever needed to know from AllData.com. Exploded view, electrical troubleshooting, part numbers, step by step for Removal/Replace, even book hours so you can see if a local shop is screwing you on labor cost.

ABSOLUTELY money well spent.

True but isnt this what a forum is about, helping each other? Tight budgets for most these days!

oh, FOR SURE. But when it’s late, you’re working on a problem and can’t wait for a specific detail, AllData is easy to pull up on your phone in the moment.

This is true, but as you mention, tight budgets now-a-days for many. But those of us that can afford it, why not help others that can't?
Are these diagrams and steps able to be copied, to paper or shared?

Ya, I've got a shop manual for my 2020 F150 myself.
I wanted to see how good the All Data one is, so I bought a month subscription for my 2007 Jeep. I just spent a few minutes going thru some exploded views and wiring diagrams. It looks like it's better than nothing, but I'm not that impressed. The views I called up were pretty blurry and not really clear. I also have the manual for the Jeep on my computer, and I think it's much better, but a little less user friendly, and it was free.

Check your local library as well. They often give you access to online repair databases such as Chilton or Haynes. Mine gives me free access to Chilton online repair manuals.
