I posted the question in the wrong place eariler. Will the engine turn over if there is a problem with the alarm system. My truck will sometimes not start turns over great but no start sometime will die and not start you wait awhile and then it will start. I have a fuel press gage I am carrying around with me along with a multimeter will try to determine if fuel or spark next time.

 

What year is your truck? It could be an immobilizer issue.
