Adding automatic headlights

Default Adding automatic headlights

Wanted to add automatic headlights to my 2007 F150 I replace the headlight switch thinking that’s all I had to do but they’re not working in automatic setting do I also need to replace the sensor on the dash

From that schematic, it looks like you’d need the sun load sensor and maybe the vehicle security module from an auto lamp-equipped truck. Especially if yours is an XL. That makes sense since my former ‘08 XLT SCrew had autolamps and remote setup which would turn on both sets of lights when I’d hit the unlock button at dark.
