accumulator piston

how hard is it to change the 2-3 accumulator piston on a 2001 ?
i am slipping or hitting nutrel on the 2-3 upshift, i was told it might be these piston seals. any insight would be appreaciated.

drop the pan, drop the valvebody, compress the snap rings and the retainer plate should just weasel out. The springs in the caivty are under some pressure, so be careful.
