Default ABS light

Anyone know why my ABS light comes on all the time? It normally comes on when I get on the engine. Just curious. Going to bleed the brake lines this summer but it has plenty of fluid and it's not that dirty.

I had this problem a year or two ago. It turned out to be the fluid level sensor went bad. Ended up cutting the ground to the switch and went on.

To tell you the truth I am not sure how the sensor was. But cutting the ground was free.

I also have a problem with my ABS light. It doesn't throw any codes but it is always on. Could someone tell me where the sensor is? I could start by checking that.

what year is the truck guys?there are a few years in the 90's where there is a recall on the speed control sensor..which is located on the master cylinder

look for brake fluid leaks around it if no leaks look for melting plug on harness going to the sensor...that will cause abs light to go on..
