Default 97 F150 ignition problems??

Ok I've ben trolling the internet for 2 weeks now and can't find anything specific to my problem.97 F150 5.4 automatic 2 wheel drive. The actuator pin in the steering column came out so I disassemble everything replaced actuator rod and pin also replaced bearings because they were gone. Now my problem is I can't get the truck to turn over. All dash lights come on, radio comes on battery is good also tried wiggling shifter and cranking on neutral, nothing. Truck cranked and ran fine for as long as I can remember with no problems. Any help on this would be great. Mabye I damaged something in the reassembly proccess also checked all fuses.. thanks

Sounds like the wires for the anti-theft lock out got damaged or cut. Your key has a chip inside of it so w/o this connection the computer won't let the truck crank. You can test this by using a remote wired starter or a screwdriver across the starter solenoid. If it cranks it's the anti-theft wire in the steering column.
