That’s why I asked you if the were both below the cap... and does the recovery tank have an overflow tube ?

If it keeps blowing radiators I would be concerned that maybe a bad head gasket was causing exhaust gases to over pressurize the system.

I will have to check the recovery tank for an overflow, if not, I suppose i will have to put a tube on the top connection as well, or on the tank.

JCR-that is one of my concerns as well. Now that my friends truck has been flushed and cleaned out really well, I'll have to have him keep an eye on the fluids for oil in the coolant, or coolant in the oil. I definitely need to get the proper pressure relief, (as in the overflow tubes) so the rad or hoses don't blow.
