Default 93 frame broke

Doing my trash run today with my do and heard a big crack on the right side. After getting home, I found that the frame broke from being rusted rotten. Its in between the cab and the bed. No funds to get even a used truck so thinking of some way to repair it. I'll probably end up getting couple 3/16" plates and grade 8 nuts and bolts. Drill the plates and frame, then sandwich the frame with the plates.

That frame does not appear to be safely repairable. I think it is time to retire it to be an organ donor for your next truck.

That truck needs to be scrapped. You cannot safely repair that frame because everything before and after the crack is badly rusted. The repair won't hold up and will create a safety issue for others sharing the road with you.

It's illegal for a truck like that to even be on the road. No way to make that safe or roadworthy.

Call your insurance company, and start shopping. Taking that thing onto a public road would be attempted murder & suicide.

Stick a fork in it! It’s done! I agree with everyone who’s posted in this picture thread. Not repairable and very dangerous!

That frame is so badly rusted all over that I'd scrap it. If you patched it, it could break again in another spot tomorrow. Not worth fooling with. Time to find another truck

JB Weld and Duct Tape, make it last another 2 years at least. The truck is pink, put it out of it's misery. Poor truck just trying to commit suicide.

Have you tried shopping for just a used frame, and transfer everything from yours to the new frame. i know it sounds like a lot of work, but the parts might be cheaper than a complete vehicle. It all depends on if you have the room, time, and mechanical skills to do the labor yourself.
