thats what my dad runs in his 02 f150... a sales man that sales sceaffers took his truck and switched all his fluids to scheaffers.. from motocraft... and he gained lik 3mpg... and it felt like a totally different truck... hell it made it feel like it rode better... lol i dunno how .. but it was like a different truck... its pretty exspensive but he runs it to 15000 miles and its still good... he runs his old in there riding mower ... or bottles it and pours it in the ol crown vic haha.... (he orders it from that guy and he drops it off at his work)...i was going to use it but i started with royal purple since day one...i like royal purple ive had good luck with it so far....
btw... id never use a fram oil filter..but we wont go there

GatorB8,
My dealership used an aftermarket oil filter on my F150. Can you believe it? It was even the small type. I figured it out when I went to a parts store to buy a filter and the guy gave me this huge 4 inch dia Motocraft filter. I kept telling him it was the wrong filter, but he said Ford allows two part numbers for the oil filter, a larger FL-820-S vs. the F1-A filter.
Anyway, thought I'd let you know
