I have a 2015 f150 5.0 with 106k miles.

I’ve replaced water pump around 80k mikes

i just did my spark plugs at 100k miles

and to be honest I got a new job where I’m driving a brand new Chevy and I felt really good about my truck. This truck has treated me very well and is my first truck. My original plan was to keep her forever but now that plan has changed. Has anyone come across this sound before with their rig?

my heart is broken because I’ve been going back and fourth on should I sell it because I could actually make money on it with how expensive used cars are. That was until today when I listened to a new noise I’ve never heard under the hood.

there are two sounds that I can hear and I’m 100% not mechanically inclined. The scratching noise is from the black hose that I have my one finger on and then the whine is coming from I’m thinking the top near throttle body/manifold.

any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you all for you time!
