Default 4.2 engine swap in progress-harness issues...

Hey everybody!! This is my first post on this forum. I recently built a mustang a while back and have been on those forums A LOT!! Those guys helped me get my car rebuilt and running great. So, I am working on a friends (F150 4.2 V6), and need some help from the truck experts here...

So here's the deal. She left it parked outside in the driveway last January with straight water in the coolant, and NO antifreeze-so that froze and cracked the block...ouch!

I recently found a good running 4.2 engine out of another 98 model F150. Removed that engine, and am now getting ready to put it in this truck.

And now for the question:
The electrical connectors on the injector harnesses are different. One is round and has 4 wires(the new harness) and the connector on the old harness is square and has 5 wires. Any ideas on how to make this work? I don't want to change harnesses because some of the injector connectors have been burnt(melted) on the old engine and are not usable, so I want to stay with this new harness that is already on the new motor. Here's some pics:

I don't get why they would use two different style connectors when both trucks were built in 98...?

Thanks guys...sorry this is such a long post!

Update: I figured out why the harnesses are different. Somewhere along the way in 1998, Ford decided to change injectors and the lower intake manifold butterfly actuators. I don't know which way they went, but one motor had an electric TPS actuator that controlled both sides of the manifold simultaneously, and the other motor had two independent vacuum actuated canisters. Not sure yet as to which I prefer....but nonetheless, I changed injectors to some I had laying around, and changed harnesses to accommodate the TPS manifold actuator....now for a new(used) clutch, and into the truck we go!!
